Charity is one of the three fundamental principles of Freemasonry.
Masonic charity operates on both a national and local level, supporting many organisations and individuals outside the Masonic community.

Over the last few years, our Lodge has donated money to the following causes:
- Childline – a charity started in 1986 by Esther Rantzen, and one of our senior members who served as Chairman, helps any young person in the UK and deals with anything from abuse and bullying to exam stress and relationships
- The Masonic Samaritan Fund, provides grants to eligible beneficiaries who have an identified health or care need and, faced with a long wait for treatment, care or support, are unable to afford their own private care
- Life line – in particular to the Cyber Knife project for cancer patients, works with individuals, families and communities both to prevent and reduce harm, to promote recovery, and to challenge the inequalities linked to alcohol and drug misuse
- The Samaritan Fund, which at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital is able to support the most underprivileged patients at Guy’s and St Thomas
- The Children of St Mary’s, aiming to improve the care of young patients at the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London through the provision of medical equipment and other facilities that are not available through the NHS; and to promote research, teaching and training of and into paediatric care. St Mary’s PICU treats critically ill children from London and the south east of England
- Radio Marathon, is a London Cypriot community charity with a mission to facilitate empowerment for people with learning disabilities, and their families and carers at their Enfield centre, in an environment that welcomes and respects all cultures
- North London Hospice, is a charity committed to providing the highest quality palliative and end of life care and support for patients and families living with a life limiting illness
- Alkyonides UK, is a Cypriot community charity which relies on volunteers who selflessly dedicate their time and effort, with no reward, in order to help families facing severe financial and medical hardship. The Charity works in close co-operation with welfare services and acts without delay
- Grief Encounters, which is one of the UK’s leading child bereavement charities providing pioneering services and support to bereaved children, young people and their families.
- Rays of Sunshine, brightens up the lives of seriously ill children aged three to 18 by granting wishes and organising large scale events
- London Air Ambulance, a British registered charity that operates a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS), dedicated to responding to serious trauma emergencies in and around London. Using a helicopter by day and rapid response vehicles by night, it functions as a mobile operating theatre
- U.K. Thalassemia, supports people affected by thalassaemia, a genetic blood disorder which requires lifelong blood transfusions & various other medical treatment
- Tercentenary Charity Appeal, promoted by our Metropolitan Grand Master dedicated to fundraising for national appeals and campaigns on behalf of other charities
- Lifelites – a charity supporting children with life limiting illness
- RMBI – a Masonic charity which provides homes for over 1000 people across England and Wales, and supports many more in the community
- Various other smaller charities
As a result of our generous contributions towards our Masonic charities our Lodge has been acknowledged by our Metropolitan Grand Lodge with the following honours:
